At Etrust (PVT) Ltd, we respect your privacy and your right to complete control over your personal data. If you no longer wish to use our mobile applications and want your personal data to be permanently erased from our systems, you can request full data deletion through the formal procedure detailed below.

How to Request Data Deletion
To initiate an account and data erasure request, send an email to [email protected] containing the required verification details below:
Phone Number:The registered mobile number linked with your eTrust account
Full Name:Your full name exactly as registered in your account profile
Reason for Deletion:Brief explanation (optional)
Confirmation Statement:"I confirm that I want to permanently delete my account and all associated personal data from eTrust systems."

What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon processing and identity verification, the following records will be permanently removed from our active database servers:
Personal identification credentials (Full Name, Phone Number, Residential Address)
Submitted KYC documents including National ID (NIC) or Passport numbers
Document attachments (Images of NIC, Passport, or Driving License)
Business registration certificates and merchant store details (for merchant accounts)
Profile pictures and avatar uploads
App configuration records, session tokens, and communication preferences

Data Retention for Legal Purposes
In compliance with statutory obligations, specific operational records cannot be purged immediately and will be archived with restricted access:
Transaction records and historical warranty issuance records (required for consumer protection and warranty dispute audits)
Accounting and tax filing logs related to verified retail transactions
Archived records essential to unresolved legal disputes or regulatory investigations
Anonymized aggregate analytical logs that contain no personally identifiable tokens
Retained historical data is kept strictly within encrypted, access-restricted vaults only for the period mandated by Sri Lankan law.

Processing Timeline & Permanent Effect
We review and finalize all verified data deletion submissions within 30 calendar days of receiving your email request. A final confirmation email will be dispatched once the deletion sequence is complete. Please be aware that once an account is erased, it cannot be reactivated or recovered under any circumstance.
